⚠ FR CAPABILITY NOTICE
By design the Drape Cap is fire retardant. However, it is not designed with the layers of insulation found in firefighting or metalworking apparel.

The materials in the Drape Cap are meant to mitigate flash burns, and other injuries caused by brief exposure to heat and fire.
Exercise caution and avoid prolonged contact with dangerously hot surfaces and flames. Given time, any sufficiently dangerous heat source will transfer through the FR Drape Cap to your skin.

The FR Drape Cap is a fully featured sun hat suitable for military use.

Made with highly breathable fire retardant mesh, the Drape Cap compares favorably to traditional boonie hats. ECC's low-profile, quick-drying design provides superior head and neck protection without compromising peripheral vision or hearing. When not in use, it packs nearly into a thigh pocket or pouch.

The Drape Cap also incorporates a number of modern creature comforts such as internal routing and storage for electronic earplugs, compatibility with over-ear headsets and helmets, and stretch-fit sizing.

CARE //

Hand wash the Drape Cap in warm water and line dry in shade. Do not bleach, or use fabric softeners. To preserve near-infrared compliance, do not use detergents with optical brighteners.

Always check for retained electronic hearing protection before washing.

WARRANTY //

The Drape Cap carries a 6 month limited warranty
If you believe your cap has a defect in material or workmanship, contact help@eccgear.com within 180 days of delivery. Warranty claims will be evaluated individually by ECC.

Clothing is a consumable item. As such normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty by ECC.

    Feels good, looks good, performs good.

    It came with a little patch of the FR fabric to try to light on fire to test it's capabilities.
